In-Room Air Treatment for Hospitals and Health Care
The SAC Microcon MAP is a high capacity mobile HEPA air scrubber specifically designed to remove hazardous airborne microbial pathogens in hospital and health care environments. Greatly improved breathing zone air quality within a patient room using HEPA filtration in combination with our unique CIRCUMFLOW air distribution pattern. THE MICROCON MAP meets CDC requirements for HEPA filtration and exceed guidelines for recommended room air changes within one hour
Synthetic Pre-filters are utilized to extend the life of the HEPA filter, activated carbon filters are extremely effective in removing odors and gases. Modular HEPA Filter Cubes are individually tested and certified to a minimum efficacy of not less than 99.97% on 0.3 Micron sized particles. Germicidal UV Lamps provide an additional layer of germicidal protection post-HEPA
Heavy duty swivel plate casters with black rubber wheels and vinyl bumper molding on all sides. The top is constructed of a heavy-duty powder coated steel cage designed to avoid items being placed on top. Available in two models, the MICROCON® MAP400 and MAP800 both meet CDC requirements for HEPA filtration and exceed guidelines for recommended room air changes within one hour
The SAC MICROCON® MAP 400/800 intakes air from the top of the unit in a 360-degree direction from within the "breathing zone". This zone measures anywhere from 3 ft. to 7 ft. from the floor level. Eliminating sub-micron size infectious airborne particles from this zone reduces airborne microbial migration and the risk of inhalation. The addition of a ‘vent block-out kit’ allows for creation of negative or positive pressure isolation rooms. The MICROCON 400/800 is a FDA 501K classified device

The SAC Microcon MAP can be fitted with an inlet or exhaust duct to generate positive or negative pressure within a patient room. Positive pressure is achieved by replacing the inlet cap with a duct adaption to draw supply air from an alternative
location, and negative pressure is achieved by replacing the fan exhaust with a duct adaption to vent air outside of the patient room.
The quality of the air we breathe is critical to our health and productivity. Poor indoor air quality is responsible for an increase in Illness, flu outbreaks, viruses, asthma and allergies, contamination and other health risks.
